[strat_list] EGU 2007: Session on Variability and predictability of the coupled stratosphere-troposphere system

Please consider submitting an abstract to our session at the EGU General 
Assembly between 15-20 April, 2007 in Vienna.

We seek submissions which investigate all aspects of coupling between 
the stratosphere and troposphere on all timescales between extended 
range forecasting and climate variability and climate change. In 
particular, this year we are particularly interested in papers which 
focus on the use of stratospheric information to improve seasonal 
forecasts in the troposphere. We are also interested in papers which 
propose and test dynamical explanations for observed coupling between 
the stratosphere and troposphere and those which discuss the impact of 
stratospheric climate changes on the troposphere.
