NWRA Welcomes Alanna Cavins, Summer Student (Boulder)

Alanna is working in the Boulder office. She is sponsored by REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates). Alanna is from Morehead State University in Kentucky and is collaborating with Graham Barnes and KD Leka. They are studying pathways to coronal magnetic energy storage and release, in particular to understand why some active regions produce only small solar flares while others produce large flares.
