NWRA Welcomes Steven Neshyba, Sr. Research Scientist, Seattle Office
November 2024
|
Steven joined us on November 1 as he transitions from his position as Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at U Puget Sound. His research centers broadly on the role of ice in the climate system. Recent projects have involved studies of cirrus-like ice crystals grown inside a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), theoretical models of faceted ice growth, and molecular-level simulations of the dynamics of molecules (such as RNA) on ice surfaces. Another line of research focuses on the integration of polar-scientific research into conventional disciplinary teaching curricula. Please welcome Steven! |
