NWRA Says Farewell David Lai, Senior Research Scientist

David has been with NWRA since 1995. He came to NWRA from UW APL. David has been an accomplished researcher with expertise in SAR imagery of the ocean surface, air-sea interaction, wind variability, internal waves and turbulence, and the oceanic response to hurricane forcing and topography. Along the way he developed expertise in tools such as data inversion techniques, marine instrumentation, and the tools needed for analysis and interpretation of aircraft vortex evolution data. We will miss you David! |
