Accolade: K.D. Leka has been appointed, “Designated Foreign Professor”

For the next 5 years, K.D. will spend 2-3 mo/yr at Nagoya University Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research. She will supervise post-doc and graduate students on understanding the triggers of solar energetic events, and organizing a small workshop on operational solar flare forecast performance. (And, as she says, “Hopefully, also improving my Japanese!”) Congratulations K.D.! |
