NWRA Welcomes Drew Camron, Graduate Research Assistant (Boulder)

Drew is working in the Boulder office as a first-year graduate student in the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (ATOC) at CU, with Joan Alexander as his thesis advisor. He will be studying tropical convective clouds and precipitation and their relationships to atmospheric gravity waves, with the aim of improving NCAR climate simulations.He will also be collaborating with other scientists connected to his project at NCAR and Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Outreach: Eric Kunze led a public outreach activity, "The Influence of Polar Seas on the Global Ocean."
