Bill will be working with Greg Bullock on OTH radar simulation in the Monterey office. Bill received his Master’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT with additional professional coursework in machine learning, digital image processing, and self-driving car engineering. NWRA Welcomes Brianna Isola, Summer Student (Boulder)

Brianna is working in the Boulder office. She is sponsored by REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates). Brianna is from Stony Brook University in New York and is collaborating with Graham Barnes and KD Leka. They are studying pathways to coronal magnetic energy storage and release, in particular to understand why some active regions produce only small solar flares while others produce large flares.
