Joan Alexander has been appointed Co-Chair (2013-2015) of the Scientific Steering Group on Stratospheric Processes and their Role in Climate (SPARC). SPARC is one of the four core projects of the World Climate Research Programme facilitating research for understanding climate processes with relevance for international ozone and climate assessments.
