Research interests: I study geophysical electric and magnetic fields to further our understanding of Earth's atmosphere and space environment. Topics include lightning, middle atmospheric discharges such as sprites and ELVES, solar-terrestrial effects in the ionosphere and magnetosphere, and reports of geomagnetic and ionospheric precursors to earthquakes.
