OCTAV-UTLS is a new SPARC activity that will assess our ability to detect and quantify global and regional composition trends in the upper troposphere/lower stratosphere (UTLS) from current observational datasets from many platforms (satellite, balloon, aircraft, lidar,...), and make recommendations for future measurement needs.
