NWRA Welcomes Milena Corcos, Postdoctoral Research Associate, Boulder Office

Milena joins us as a multi-year, J-1 Visa Scholar working with Joan Alexander and Martina Bramberger on gravity waves generated by tropical convection in long-duration super-pressure balloon observations & in high-resolution models. She received her PhD from Sorbonne University (Paris) in early 2023. Her thesis title is, “Processes affecting cirrus cloud life cycle at the tropical tropopause layer: Atmospheric dynamics, microphysics, balloon observations, modeling”. Please welcome Milena! |
NWRA Welcomes back Matt Pruis, Senior Research Scientist, Seattle office

Matt returned to NWRA as a part time employee on April 24, 2023. Matt will be working with Don Delisi on FAA-funded studies to determine the smallest, safe separations between landing aircraft at congested airports. This work incorporates the aircraft measurements from Memphis airport that Matt and Don made under previous NASA funding. Please welcome Matt! |
