Service: Gloria Manney, Senior Research Scientist

September 2024

Gloria Manney helped to organize the Atmospheric Processes and their Role in Climate (APARC) Reanalysis Intercomparison Project (A-RIP) planning workshop in Boulder, 22-24 July 2024. Also participating were NWRA scientists, Joan Alexandra and Laura Holt.

There were ~35 participants in Boulder with another ~50 participating online, representing at least 30 countries, with half of those in the "Global South".

NWRA joined CIRES and LASP in sponsoring the workshop, covering in-person registration fees for approximately half of the early career scientists who also attended a networking event the weekend before.

Gloria is a co-lead of S-RIP / A-RIP since 2015.

Thank you, Gloria!
