Visitor: NWRA Welcomes Gerardo Hernandez Duenas to the Redmond Office

Gerardo is an associate professor in the department of Mathematics at UNAM-Queretaro (National Univ of Mexico) and will be working with Pascale Lelong. They are collaborating with Leslie Smith (U of Wisconsin-Madison) on the intermediate models, developed by Gerardo, used to study nonlinear interactions between waves and vortical modes and ocean dispersion. NWRA Welcomes Karin Dissauer, Postdoctoral Assistant

Karin will be working with KD Leka on statistically characterizing the state of the solar corona prior to solar energetic events (the "Snap, Crackle, Pop! NASA-funded project) in the Boulder office. Karin received her PhD from the University of Graz, Austria where she developed a novel analysis method of coronal mass ejection dynamics. Please welcome Karin to NWRA! |
