Lan joined us on January 1 and will work with Joan Alexander and Laura Holt on climate effects on gravity waves in global models.

Lan received her Ph.D. in Geological Science (Atmospheric Science track) from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2023.

Ms. Zoeller is a J-visa visitor, from the Institute of Marine Science, who will collaborate with Mariona Claret on numerical stability and dynamics of mesoscale neutral vortices with vanishing circulation in 2D & 3D quasi-geostrophic flows.
