Adventures in Science: Cynthia Twohy is studying the impact of western wildfire smoke

NWRA scientist Cynthia Twohy has been part of a team measuring the chemistry of western wildfire smoke to understand its impact on air quality, nutrient cycles, clouds and climate.

NWRA Welcomes Andrew Sentman, Student Intern

July 2018

Andrew will be working with Jeremy Thomas and Natalia Solorzano in our Redmond office and will be working on an embedded sensor and satellite communication system for high-altitude balloons to quantify the global electric circuit with a test flight from Sisters, Oregon scheduled for August. Andrew is a third year Computer Engineering student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
