Chuntao is an Associate Professor of Atmospheric Sciences from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. He is a leading expert on satellite observations of clouds and precipitation. He will be collaborating with Joan Alexander on connections between atmospheric gravity waves and convective clouds for improved climate simulation.
