Cosme Alexandre, Post Doc from Brazil’s National Institute for Space Research (INPE) NWRA warmly welcomes its first J-visa visitor since the pandemic shutdown in March 2020! Dr. Alexandre will be working with Dr. Sharon Vadas in the Boulder Office, investigating sources of traveling ionospheric disturbances (TIDs) in the Andes Mountains examining TID origination, e.g. orographic and/or convective storms, and how they propagate. |

Max joined in early June after finishing his junior year in CU's Mechanical Engineering undergraduate program. Max will work with Andreas in the Boulder Office on various aspects of optical wave propagation through the turbulent atmosphere. In particular, he will assist in the planning and conduction of field experiments and in the analysis of optical and in-situ field measurements. Please Welcome Max! |
