NWRA Welcomes Chris Kruse, Research Scientist
September 2021
Chris joined NWRA in early July and is working with Joan Alexander, Martina Bramberger and Alison Grimsdell in the Boulder Office on their NSF project, “Developing machine-learning-based parameterizations of gravity wave drag for climate models.” Chris is an Atmospheric Scientist with experience in high-resolution regional modeling, airborne measurement analyses, and climate modeling with foci on middle atmosphere gravity waves and boundary layer momentum fluxes. Please Welcome Chris! |
NWRA Welcomes Kody Gray.
May 2021
Kody Gray, Student Intern, began working with Gloria Manney on 5/1/21. Kody will assist in the research of stratospheric polar vortex variations on chemical ozone loss and on how the upper tropospheric jet streams mediate the effect of stratospheric polar vortex variations on extreme winter weather events. Kody is located in New Mexico and can be reached via email at: s.kody21@nwra.com. Please Welcome Kody! |
